My name is David, and I'm the co-founder of Deck Armor.

My fondest memories as a child were with my family on the boat. Whether it was tubing on the lake or heading offshore to fish, those days were everything. The boat wasn't much, it was tired and worn, but it was ours, and when we were on it nothing else mattered. That's where my love for boats began: looking at them, being on them, and being around them.

But I also learned early on that boating comes with risks. Falling on a boat is dangerous. Falling out can be deadly. Safety has to matter just as much as fun. That's why we created the Deck Armor boat flooring system.
